Macerate – oily extract
The plant parts are steeped in Valencano Bjelica extra virgin organic olive oil for several weeks, filtered, and bottled.
For St. John’s wort oil, the flowers are picked on our olive plantation around St. John’s Day on June 24, immediately macerated, and left to macerate in the warm sun for several weeks. The St. John’s wort plants growing on our plantation are certified organic.
For lavender oil, the flowers are also harvested and macerated in oil – but in this case using a cold process in our olive oil cellar. We only use flowers from lavender plants that grow on the Valencano plantation and are certified organic.
For the rosemary oil, we use the leaves of rosemary bushes that grow on the Valencano plantation and are also certified organic. Here, too, maceration is carried out using a cold process.
For the mosquito repellent oil, several organic essential oils are mixed with Valencano Bjelica extra virgin organic olive oil.
