With one of its organic olive oils, Valencano was among the top 150 olive oils at the Olio Award 2023 of the magazine “Der Feinschmecker”.
Statement: “Your olive oil from the Buža variety convinces with notes of grass, tomato leaves, lamb’s lettuce and cress and beans – great! Bitterness and sharpness are prominent. We recommend pasta with chickpeas.”
5 Croatian olive oil suppliers, all from Istria, are among the top 150 with 8 olive oils, of which only one other organic olive oil besides ours.
